The MMA Association of Singapore (MMAAS) announces the commencement of the 2026 Management Committee Election.
The election will be conducted at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) convened by the MMAAS Board.

The Mixed Martial Arts Association of Singapore (MMAAS) is pleased to announce the following individuals
who have been successfully nominated for election to the Management Committee for the 2026–2030 term.
All nominations have been duly reviewed and verified as valid in accordance with the Association’s nomination requirements.
Tan Sin Hon Albert
*Represented Member Club: Active Lifestyle SG*
Albert Tan brings experience in sports administration, coaching, governance and international sports development. His background includes serving as a Regional Development Officer for the Federation of International Polo, alongside academic and professional experience in law and commercial mediation.
His vision focuses on developing a safe, sustainable and well-governed MMA ecosystem, supported by stronger stakeholder engagement, athlete development and organizational accountability.
Ng Khay Wee
*Represented Member Club: IMMA*
Ng Khay Wee is a corporate treasury professional with experience in financial management, audit, risk management and financial governance. He currently serves as the appointed Treasurer of MMAAS.
He advocates responsible financial stewardship, transparent governance and sustainable funding, emphasising effective resource management to support athletes, members and the Association’s long-term development.
Lau Chia Po Alvin
*Represented Member Club: Wing Chun Singapore*
Alvin Lau currently serves as Secretary General of MMAAS and Executive Director of TAPA Asia Pacific. He brings extensive experience in association governance, strategic management, organisational development and stakeholder engagement, alongside previous leadership roles in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, DHL and CEVA Logistics.
His priorities include strengthening governance, financial sustainability, strategic partnerships and structured athlete development pathways, with the objective of building a professionally managed and internationally respected MMA ecosystem.
Dominic Marc Chen
*Club Affiliation: Homeground MMA (Employer; no representing member club declared)*
Dominic Chen is a former national wrestling athlete and an active wrestling coach with Homeground MMA. He brings practical experience in athlete development, coaching and team management, alongside a professional background in engineering.
He is passionate about raising the profile of MMA in Singapore and improving the competitive standards of local athletes through structured development pathways and stronger sporting opportunities.
Wang Wei Seng Roger
*Represented Member Club: Karatedo United, Singapore*
Roger Wang is an experienced martial arts practitioner and sports administrator, having previously served as President of the Karatedo Union of Singapore for approximately 10 years. A fourth-degree black belt holder with a Master of Science in Marketing, he brings experience in martial arts leadership, event organisation and strategic development.
His vision focuses on strengthening high-performance sport, community participation and the continued development of MMA in Singapore.
## Looking Ahead: 2026–2030
The upcoming Management Committee election marks another important milestone in the continued development of Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore.
MMAAS remains committed to promoting good governance, strengthening athlete development pathways, supporting affiliated member clubs and expanding opportunities for athletes, coaches, officials and the wider MMA community.
The Association extends its appreciation to all nominees for their willingness to contribute their time, expertise and leadership towards advancing the sport.
*All five nominations have been verified as valid. The nominees will be presented for election in accordance with the MMAAS Constitution and applicable election procedures.*

ABOUT MMAAS
The MMAAS was founded in 2023 and is affiliated to the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Association (AMMA) as the governing body for MMA in Singapore. The association works closely with the government and other sports organizations to ensure that the sport is conducted in a safe and responsible manner.
One of the key objectives of the MMAAS is to educate and promote awareness about MMA. The association organises seminars and workshops for coaches, officials, and athletes, and provides resources for individuals who are interested in learning more about the sport.
